Dr. Offerdahl has been a clinical pharmacist and pharmacology and therapeutics professor for 29 years, where she has had the privilege to teach thousands of students in optometry, physician assistant, nursing, audiology, physical therapy, and pharmacy programs. She also lectures extensively all over the United States to practicing clinicians. Other than teaching students and practitioners about drugs and adverse effects, she is also a functional medicine clinician. She believes that humans were made to be self-healing organisms, and she uses her education, training, and experience to teach patients how to use lifestyle modifications and dietary supplements to help them live healthier AND longer lives. She teaches current and future clinicians and clients how to use the Biophotonic Scanner in patient care, as it is able to give real time levels of oxidative stress.
